  • Ground beef
  • Minced garlic
  • Water
  • Canned tomato sauce
  • Canned diced tomatoes
  • Italian seasoning
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt
  • Uncooked elbow macaroni (or macaroni of your choice)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese 


  1. Fry ground beef quickly in a pan over medium-high heat until cooked. Drain. Add garlic and fry for about 5 minutes. Add water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, mint leaves, soy sauce, and salt to taste. Stir well. Cover and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Add the uncooked elbow macaroni to pan, stir well, return the lid and simmer for about 30 minutes. Turn off heat. Sprinkle some cheese right before serving. Or use any garnishing of choice.
