Mauritius is an island nation off the south east coast of Africa. It gained its independence from the British in 1968. Mauritius developed from a low-income agriculture based economy to a middle income diversified economy based on sugar, tourism, textiles and financial services. National reserve in Mauritius, this is a very beautiful reserve which includes green valleys, plateaus, hills, lakes, waterfalls, volcanic ashes, rivers, 23 coloured earth, beautiful flora and fauna and so many other facilities available from the kid’s garden to the restaurants. Mauritius National Botanical Garden is one of the most patronized tourist attractions in Mauritius. It was originally opened as a private garden by the French Governor of Mauritius about 300 years ago but later became the National Botanical Garden of Mauritius. To could take over a week to tour the entire garden and there are over 600 varieties of plants. Cool huh?

The Eureka House is a very unique Creole house built in 1830. It was originally owned by French and British aristocrats. With over 109 doors and windows it is considered one of the biggest houses on the island and a very popular tourist attraction. It has a beautifully magnificent garden and is surrounded by the waterfalls of Moka. It has a museum dedicated to arts, music, antiques and so many more. Sounds fun right?
